  Prof. Jim McAllister, 8th Dan

Jim is the Founder and Chief Instructor at the Jim McAllister Academy of Martial Arts and presently holds the rank of 8th Dan Hachidan in Bu-Jutsu and 7th Dan Shihan in Fudoshin Karate. He was awarded the rank and given the title of Professor by the late Professor Lawrence in 2003. He is now in charge of the B.F.A. Worldwide.
     
  Sensei Gary Hogben, 6th Dan

Gary's Martial Arts career spans some 40 years. The last 35 of those years have been with Prof. McAllister.

He has studied Judo, Aikido, Karate, KickBoxing and Penjak Silat.

Also assistant Chief Instructor to Prof. McAllister.
     

 

 

 
Sensei Martin Byas, 5th Dan

Has studied Martial Arts for over thirty years. He was one of the first students of Penjak Silat when it came to England in the early 80's from Indonesia by the legendary Guru Richard De Bordes.

On moving to Essex in 1992, he started as a student of Prof. Jim McAllister. He has also studied in Malaysia with Prof. McAllister in the art of Penjak Silat under the guidance of another silat Master Jak Otham. He also studies the chinese art of internal strength in the form of Chi Kung.

     
 
Sensei Dave Perry, 2nd Dan

An experienced Martial Artist. Dave's career started in Judo (3 years), JuJutsu (5 years), boxing, thai boxing and wing chung (5 years). He finally settled once he found the McAllister Academy of Martial Arts and has been a valued member for the past 12 years.
     
  Sensei Neil Cooper, 2nd Dan

An Instructor in the McAllister Academy of Martial Arts has trained with the academy for twenty years.
     
  Sensei Julie Cooper, 2nd Dan

An Instructor in the McAllister Academy of Martial Arts has trained with the academy for thirteen years.
